Q&A on Yogi Tea
Who is Yogi Tea?
Yogi Tea have been making delicious, functional teas, which are inspired by the ancient holistic healing philosophy of Ayurveda, for over 40 years.
Yogi Tea now have over 50 tea blends. They use ethically-sourced spices and botanicals, as well as plastic-free, unbleached tea bags.
Make sure you check your box of tea for the wonderfully written description and yoga pose found on every one - we love them!
Which is the best Yogi Tea for me?
Whether you're looking to support your wellness or simply enjoy the delicious flavours on offer, Yogi Tea has such an extensive range. There are so many flavours to explore, with a variety of health benefits, here are a couple of our favourites:
Ashwaganda Balance
A delicious blend of ashwagandha with passionflower and acerola cherry, a great source of vitamin C for calming the nervous system and manage stress.
Soul Balm
Cocoa shells, combined with sweet rooibos and fruity orange notes, for relaxing tea to help you unwind.
Turmeric Orange
Fortifying turmeric, with mildly fruity orange and soft vanilla are combined in this tea to give you a sweet and spicy flavour.
Men's Tea
A blend of roasted herbs and spices, ginseng, chili and mace to give a deep spicy flavour.
Women's Balance
Raspberry leaves, lemon verbena and a pinch of cinnamon to support the female cycle and help give you balance.
When is the best time to drink Yogi Tea?
There are certain teas, which have been blended for specific times of day like the Yogi Tea Bedtime; this contains lavender, valerian root, mint and sage to bring about calm and relaxation before bed, but of course can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
Many of the Yogi Teas are naturally caffeine free (and handily this is marked on the packaging too) so can be enjoyed throughout the day and evening.
We recommend enjoying Yogi Teas that contain black, white, or green tea and those with cocoa shells before 4pm. Research suggests that stopping caffeine 6-8 hours prior to bedtime is the best way to ensure you get the best night's sleep.
Are Yogi Tea bags compostable?
Yogi Tea use plastic-free and unbleached tea bags so they are fully compostable - hurrah!
